Field Operations Specialist (Zone Manager-Sales)

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course preferably in Business Management and Administration, Communications or Marketing
  • With at least 5 years of work experience
  • Experience in sales or related field for at least 2 years is an advantage
  • High proficiency in computer applications (MS Office)
  • Excellent skills in written and oral communication and negotiations

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the Company to Dealer business relationship for a defined geographical territory and the primary interface between the Company and the Dealers and is expected to manage the relationship in a spirit of both  true partnership and performance management.

  • Sales versus objective reviews, stock analysis at dealership, support dealer training requirements and plan with dealers their actions to achieve program targets
  • Coaching sales managers and consultants
  • Attend morning daily sales meetings at dealerships-insure cascading of Ford marketing and Incentive Programs
  • Ensure dealerships are using best practice sales processes and management disciplines/tools
  • Ensure appropriate focus and selling effort as applied or each model line
  • Review dealer sales team and people quality. Recommend changes where required
  • Support dealership retail promotions and activities
  • Attend dealer sales planning and order-to-delivery (OTD) review meetings, Conduct Sales Stock Rundown (SSRD) and Sales Availability Meetings (SAM), develop and coordinate Customer Satisfaction Initiatives (CSI) at dealerships and support dealer business management analysis and reviews
  • Determining and resolving wholesale issues, ensure compliance with of company to dealer policies and DSSA
  • Dealer standards monitoring -facilities, display vehicles, people, events etc.
  • Analyze competitive actions and provide insights and proposals to marketing for countermeasures
  • Protect Ford brand Image in accordance with company policy requirements
  • Conduct dealer annual business plan reviews, measure regional performance and provide support to dealers, sales managers and sales consultants to achieve dealerships monthly sales objectives
  • Showroom management disciplines to be ensure for better dealer performance and profitability
