Safety comes standard

Packed full of safety features, the Focus is designed to help avoid an accident or minimise its potential consequences. With six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and anti-lock braking system (ABS), it’s little wonder that the Focus was awarded the highest ANCAP safety rating possible: 5 stars!

Ford MyKey®

Ford's exclusive MyKey® technology enables owners to programme a key – usually for younger drivers – that restricts the top speed of the Focus, reduces the maximum volume of audio system, and even disables the audio system altogether if the driver and passengers are not using seatbelts. It can also prevent the driver from deactivating safety technologies such as the electronic stability programme (ESP), which can help mitigate or prevent collisions.

Auto wipers and headlightsFocus-Safety

You don’t need to switch on the window wipers as soon as it starts raining, as the're activated automatically when it begins to rain. These are some of the safety measures when driving on the road.
