The Jr. NBA program is new to Africa and started in South Africa on 7 May 2016. It will roll out across Sub Saharan Africa later this year.
The Jr. NBA is the NBA’s global youth basketball participation program for boys and girls. It teaches the fundamental skills and core values of the game at grassroots level in an effort to grown and improve the youth basketball experience for players, coaches and parents.
During the 2015-16 season (runs June 2015 to June 2016) the Jr. NBA will reach more than 6.5 million youth in 34 countries.
Ford is a proud partner of this programme in Sub Saharan Africa.
