How do I extend the remote start run time for my Ford vehicle?

To Extend Your Remote Start in Ford app:

Important: To extend your remote start run time with Ford app, your initial start must be initiated from Ford app and not your keyfob. 

  1. Log in to the Ford app.
  2. After selecting to remote start, an in-app notification should appear.
  3. Select the Extend button from the in-app notification.

To Extend Your Remote Start in Your Vehicle:

  1. Start your vehicle.
  2. Use the directional pad on your steering wheel to select Settings.
  3. Navigate to Advanced Settings.
  4. Press OK.
  5. Navigate to Vehicle.
  6. Press OK.
  7. Navigate to Remote Start.
  8. Press OK.
  9. Navigate to Duration.
  10. Press OK.
  11. Select from the 3 options:
    • Five minutes
    • Ten minutes
    • Fifteen minutes
  12. The option that is highlighted will be the selected option.
  13. Once the selection is made, you can back out of this menu by pressing the left arrow on the directional pad.
