How do I schedule remote starts for my Ford vehicle using FordPass®*?

Ensure your vehicle meets all requirements to use scheduled starts, which are:

Create a Scheduled Start

To create a Scheduled Start, take the following steps in FordPass:

  1. Navigate to the Vehicle landing page.
  2. Select the Scheduled Start tile.
  3. Tap Add Start
  4. Once the Schedule screen displays, select Time
  5. Set your desired start time and tap OK.
  6. Select Repeat.
  7. Choose the days you want your vehicle to remote start and tap Save.
  8. Select Time Zone
  9. Choose the Time Zone that applies to your scheduled start and tap Confirm.
  10. Tap Save on the Schedule screen.

Notes:

  • The Scheduled Start is now saved and can be enabled or disabled by tapping its toggle switch on the Scheduled Starts screen.
  • FordPass can store a maximum of ten scheduled starts.

Edit or Delete a Scheduled Start

Note: If you want to deactivate a Scheduled Start rather than delete it, tap the toggle switch on the Scheduled Starts screen.

To edit or delete a Scheduled Start, take the following steps in FordPass:

  1. Navigate to the Vehicle landing page.
  2. Tap the Scheduled Start tile.
  3. Select a Scheduled Start.
    • To remove the Scheduled Start, tap Delete This Start at the bottom of the screen.

Note: FordPass confirms that your Scheduled Start was removed and routes back to the Scheduled Start screen.

  • To edit a Scheduled Start, tap on any of the following options and adjust accordingly:
    • Time - Change the start time.
    • Repeat - Choose what days the Schedule Start is active.
    • Time Zone - Change the Time Zone of the Scheduled Start.
  1. Tap Save/Confirm when done on each screen.
  2. Select Save on the Schedule screen to confirm all changes.
