Enable Location Services

To change the Location settings on your phone:

Note: These are general steps. If you need more specific information, please check your phone's user manual or contact your phone provider. Alternatively you can use the search function in your phones settings to search for Location.

Android Phones

  1. Select the Settings icon on your phone.
  2. Select General.
  3. Select Location.
  4. Toggle Location On or Off.
  5. Tap FordPass™.
  6. Select one of the following options:
    • Allow all the time
    • Allow only while using the app
    • Deny

iOS Phones

  1. Select the Settings icon on your phone.
  2. Select Privacy.
  3. Select Location Settings.
  4. Toggle Location Services On or Off.
  5. Go back to Settings.
  6. Scroll down to FordPass™. 
  7. Tap Location.
  8. Select one of the following options:
    • Never
    • Ask Next Time
    • While Using the App
    • Always

If you turn the location setting Off, you will not be able to use the My Location feature in the FordPass™ App.
