Why are my Scheduled Remote Starts not working for FordPass®*?

There are various reasons errors and notifications that can occur when using Scheduled Starts. Below are some known errors and messages.

  • Unable to Schedule Start - You must set your Scheduled Start at least five minutes in advance.
  • Limit Reached - You can only set a maximum of ten schedules. 

Notes:

  • If your vehicle is already turned on, FordPass will notify you that the Scheduled start failed.
  • You are also notified if your start is successful if your vehicle is started, was left idle for some time and when it automatically shuts off.  
  • Vehicles failing to schedule start need to be started with the key fob before another scheduled start can be attempted.
  • Consecutive failures can deactivate Scheduled Starts. 
  • The notifications are also sent to your FordPass Message Centre.
