How Can I Find Field Service Actions For my Vehicle?
At Ford, we take pride in high quality, dependable products. From time to time, we might discover a potential issue with a vehicle and will communicate the repair instructions directly to the Owner. However, if you know your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), you can check to see what recalls your vehicle may have open at any time by entering it into the search on the Ford South Africa Website at https://www.ford.co.za/owner/recalls/
Your VIN can be found on your vehicle at the base of the windscreen (seen from the outside), or on the vehicle build and compliance labels that can be found on the right hand (driver) side front or rear door openings. Please consult your vehicle's owner manual for the respective location of the VIN number. Please note, VIN s are exactly 17 characters long and contain both numbers and letters. They must be an exact match. For example, the letter ‘O’ and number zero ‘0’ can sometimes be entered incorrectly, resulting in errors. Please confirm your VIN carefully before searching.
If you would like more details about a field service action that applies to your vehicle, kindly contact your Ford dealer or our customer relations centre.
