The Ford web site is a private web site intended for usage between Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa and the fleet clients of Ford.

You cannot visit the Ford web site to read product and company information or use the on-line tools (e.g. calculators) without user authentication, which can be obtained from the Ford Fleet Business Centre. Additional information collected and stored during normal web site usage includes the name of your Internet service provider, the web site you last visited, the pages you request and the date and time of those requests. Ford uses this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of customer visits. Notwithstanding the use of this web site, a purchase transaction will only arise on completion of the relevant sales agreement with an authorized Ford dealer.

Collection of personally identifiable information:

Ford only collects personally identifiable information during contests, sweepstakes, promotions, to provide a service or correspondence (such as mailed brochures), or where you participate in interactive on-line activities. Ford will only use this information to identify the user as a Ford customer and to determine how to respond to the electronic mail.
