CENTENARY RETAIL CAMPAIGN – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Entry Requirements
If you purchase any new Ford vehicle from a Ford dealership between 1 October 2023 and 31 December 2023 (inclusive), you will be eligible to enter the competition. Customers’ sales executive will facilitate entering the customer into the competition, using their name, surname, ID number, and VIN of the vehicle that qualified them to enter the competition.
There are no entry fees required to participate in the competition.
Entries are non-transferrable and may not be assigned to anyone else.

2. Eligibility
To enter the competition, you must be a resident of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, or Swaziland, and be at least eighteen years old.
The competition is open to individual persons. One entry per vehicle purchased is permitted.
The competition is also open to companies, organisations, and fleet vehicle purchasers, but will be limited to Category Blue and Category Silver fleet purchasers (orders of 3-7 vehicles and 8-15 vehicles, respectively). Category Platinum fleet purchasers (orders of 16 or more vehicles) are expressly excluded from participation in this competition. One entry per company, organisations, or fleet purchaser.
Employees of Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (Manufacturing) (Pty) Ltd (FMCSA) its affiliates, partners, agents, and representatives, as well as their immediate family members and dependants, are not permitted to enter the competition.

3. Prizes
One hundred vouchers, each with a value of R50,000 excluding VAT, will be awarded as prizes.
Vouchers can only be redeemed at the Ford dealership where the winner’s new Ford vehicle, which granted them entry into the competition, was bought.
Vouchers can be redeemed for anything, at the discretion of the Ford dealer.
The grand prize will be awarded in cash and will be equal to the value of the retail price as listed on the official, published Ford retail price list available from any Ford Dealer, excluding accessories.
Prizes are not transferrable.
Prize winners remain responsible for considering the impact of receiving a prize on their personal income tax liability.

4. Winner Selection
Winners of both the vouchers and the grand prize will be selected by random drawing, judged by a panel, and overseen by an auditor.
Random drawing of voucher winners will happen during 10 draws from 13 October 2023 until 12 January 2024, selecting one voucher winner for each calendar day during the promotional period of 1 October 2023 until 31 December 2023, inclusive.
Random drawing for the grand prize will happen in January 2024, selecting one grand prize winner from all purchases registered during the promotional period of 1 October 2023 to 31 December 2023, inclusive.

5. Redemption of Prizes
Winners of the vouchers will be notified by the Ford dealership from which they bought the new Ford vehicle that granted them entry into the competition.
Vouchers will be valid to be redeemed until and including 31 March 2024.
The winner of the grand prize will be notified by FMCSA, and arrangements will be made for the handing over of their prize at the Ford dealership from which they bought the new Ford vehicle that granted them entry into the competition.
By acceptance to enter the competition, FMCSA and/or their affiliates may request the winners to take and/or use their photographs to promote the competition on its digital, social and/or owned channels, without remuneration being made payable to the winners. Winners have the right to object to these images being used by notification to FMCSA. Winners further have the right to remain anonymous.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed retrospectively, i.e., to obtain a refund for funds already spent with a Ford dealership previously.

6. Intellectual Property
FMCSA will retain all intellectual property and/or copyright rights in any entries submitted to the competition.

7. Liability
By participating in this competition, FMCSA and its affiliates, partners, employees, agents, and representatives, will be held harmless from any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from the competition.
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by these rules.

8. Privacy
All personal information supplied by entrants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and FMCSA’s Privacy Policy.

9. Termination
FMCSA reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to instances of fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond FMCSA’s reasonable control that impair the integrity or proper functioning of the competition, as determined by FMCSA in its sole discretion.
FMCSA also reserve the right to terminate the competition at any time and for any reason. In such cases, FMCSA will announce the termination and its reasons through appropriate channels and may, at its sole discretion, determine an alternative method for awarding any remaining prizes.
