Who receives a Customer Viewpoint Snapshot Survey?
The Sales Customer Viewpoint Snapshot Survey invitation is sent to retail new car buyers, individuals, small businesses and minor fleets. Ford requests that the survey is answered by the “person most familiar with the purchase”. New Vehicle Customers are contacted by email invitation or sms invitation after the Age-In Time from when a new vehicle is purchased, financed or leased as recorded Dealer systems.
The Service Customer Viewpoint Snapshot Survey invitation is sent to retail vehicle owners, individuals, small businesses or minor fleets. Ford requests that the survey is answered by the “person most familiar with the service event”.
Service Customers are contacted by email invitation or sms invitation after the Age-In Time for Service event date if eligible for a CVP Snapshot Survey as per CVP business rules for the individual market.
Who receives surveys?
Ford Motor Company administers invitations to complete the Customer Viewpoint survey using new vehicle sales, warranty service repairs, or ownership information. Survey methods are designed to receive feedback from a variety of dealership and ownership experiences, so not every vehicle sale or repair generates a Customer Viewpoint survey. Dealerships do not determine which customers receive survey invitations or when surveys are sent.

However.........It is important to remember that to avoid excessive surveys, Ford will not send the same customer a survey within six months.
