Are parts covered under warranty?

Ford Motor Company will repair or replace any properly installed new Ford or Ford re-manufactured part or accessory found to be defective in factory supplied material or workmanship during the service parts or accessory warranty or the remaining portion of the Ford Express New Vehicle Warranty depending on when your part or accessory was fitted.

High quality Genuine Ford and Motorcraft® Parts (Including batteries) and accessories are covered for 2 years/unlimited kilometers.

Parts installed or sold by dealerships to retail and wholesale customers qualify for the following warranty coverage:

Dealer-Installed (during the New Vehicle Warranty)

  • Parts and labour to replace defective part fitted under the New Vehicle Warranty will be cover for the remainder of the New Vehicle Warranty
  • Parts purchased and installed in the service department: SPW will now be 2 Years/Unlimited. Labour and towing is reimbursable.

Sold Over-the-Counter

  • Parts and accessories sold Over-the-Counter (OTC): These will now be covered for 2 Years/ Unlimited. Labour and towing is not reimbursable. Electrical components are now covered but the original receipt from the Dealership must have the VIN of the service vehicle identified to qualify for the 2 Year/ Unlimited coverage (If the information is not noted in the invoice or the vehicle cannot be brought to the Dealer for the failure assessment, then 6 months, 10k kms coverage will apply).

Parts Warranty will be transferable to the new vehicle owner.
