Do Aftermarket Accessories Affect Warranty?

The installation or use of any aftermarket product will not necessarily void the entire Ford Warranty: New Vehicle Warranty for example if any performance enhancement modifications are fitted (Exhaust, Software and ETC) the powertrain Warranty will be affected and any related claims may not be accepted by the Ford Warranty team.

If aftermarket products are fitted to a Ford vehicle, and it fails or causes a Ford part to fail, the cost of the repair and any related damage(s) are not covered by your Ford New Vehicle Warranty.

Ford Motor Company does not recommend changes to its products. Only changes that have been thoroughly tested and approved by Ford Engineering should be considered. In this case, Ford part numbers will be issued and parts made available for purchase through our dealers.
