What is the new vehicle warranty?
Every new vehicle benefits from a Ford New Vehicle Warranty that customers access via Ford Authorized Dealers. This warranty covers any part of the vehicle that requires repair or replacement as a result of a manufacturing defect. The part will be repaired or replaced free of charge by any Ford Authorized Dealer, regardless of any change of vehicle ownership during the warranty period.
The warranty starts on the date of registration for a Dealership demo or Vehicle Loaner Program (VLP) unit. For a non Dealership demo or VLP unit, the warranty starts on the date the customer took delivery of the vehicle.
Important: The warranty period for all new Ford vehicles is 4 years / 120,000km Whichever occurs first.
NOTE: Warranty conditions apply. The 4 year / 120,000km Ford New Vehicles Warranty applies to new, demo and VLP loaner vehicles delivered.
Warranty period commences on the date of delivery except where the vehicle is a demo or VLP unit, in which case it commences on the date on which it was first registered by an Authorized Ford Dealer.
