To be considered for grant funding, your organisation must meet the following criteria:
- Registered Non-Profit: Your organisation must be legally registered as a non-profit organisation in South Africa. Please provide your registration details.
- Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) Status: You must be registered as a PBO with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and able to issue Section 18A tax-deductible receipts to donors. Please provide your PBO number.
- Beneficiary Profile: A minimum of 75% of your beneficiaries should be Black, in accordance with Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) regulations. Please provide data supporting this.
- Economic Empowerment Focus: Your programs and activities should demonstrably improve beneficiaries' access to economic opportunities. Clearly outline how your work achieves this.

Application Process:
To apply for funding, please submit a detailed proposal outlining your organisation, your project, and how it aligns with Ford's priorities. The proposal should include:
- A comprehensive description of your organisation, its mission, and its history.
- A detailed explanation of your proposed project, including its goals, objectives, activities, and expected outcomes.
- A clear budget outlining all projected costs.
- A plan for evaluating the project's impact and success.
- Supporting documentation, including your registration details, PBO number, and beneficiary data.
