The Ranger Super Duty will come to South Africa in four body styles (Single Chassis Cab, Super Chassis Cab, Double Chassis Cab and Double Cab) via a phased rollout in 2027.

To comply with these limits, any load transported by the vehicle may need to be restricted to not exceed the GCM and GVM limits. The standard towball accommodates a 3,500kg load while an uprated towball is an option for those customers who want to experience the Super Duty's maximum towing weight of 4,500kg.
Gross Combine Mass (GCM) and Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM): is the maximum allowable weight of a vehicle including any load transported by the vehicle, including tow ball down weight of a trailer but excluding the weight of a trailer itself. GCM is the maximum allowable weight of the vehicle and its trailer. Subject to South African regulations. Stated vehicle weights are approximate and subject to individual variances. Vehicles should be weighed before and after adding any load to ensure the maximum GVM, GCM and Gross Axle Weight Ratings are not exceeded.
Water wading: Maximum water wading 850mm maintaining steady speed of 7km/h or less. Always consult the Owner's Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear. Do not attempt a water crossing if you are unsure of the water depth.
Pro Trailer Back up Assist: Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. May not operate at certain speeds, or in certain driving, road or weather conditions. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
Onboard scales: Caution: This feature is not intended for trade measurement usage. It does not replace weighbridge scales. Always confirm the total load using a weighbridge before driving.
