KING OF THE WHIP EVENT TICKETS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Entry Requirements

Our competition mechanic is per the below:

  1. Follow our social media pages at (Instagram @fordsouthafrica and Facebook (Ford SA))
  2. Like the post
  3. Comment by answering the question “Which engine powers the Ford Ranger Tremor and which engine powers the Ford Ranger Platinum! Name both engines for your chance to win. T&Cs apply

There is a correct answer; it is based entirely on providing a complete response to the question asked.

There are no entry fees required to participate in the competition.

The winner will be selected based on the first followers (time stamped) to answer the question correctly.

The ticket only grants the winner access to the King of Whip event taking place at Monte Casino on the 23rd November 2024.

The competition will run on Facebook and Instagram.

2. Eligibility

To enter the competition, you must be a resident of South Africa and be at least eighteen years old.

The competition is open to all car enthusiasts in the automotive community. One entry per person.

Employees of Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (Manufacturing) (Pty) Ltd (FMCSA) its affiliates, partners, agents, and representatives, as well as their immediate family members and dependants, are not permitted to enter the competition.

The follower must be following the channels to be eligible for entry.

3. Prizes

Double tickets to the King of the Whip event, taking place on 23 November 2024.

Tickets are only valid for the King of the Whip event on 23 November 2024.

The prize does not include transportation to the event location.

The winner is solely responsible for all activities related to getting to and from the event, including transport, fuel, and food.

Prize value is fixed and cannot be exchanged for cash or electronic transfer.

4. Winner Selection

Winners of the tickets will be selected based on the first five entrants who respond correctly to the question in the post. This will be judged by a panel and overseen by an auditor.

Selection of the winner will happen on the 18th of November 2024.

5. Redemption of Prizes

Winners of the vouchers will be notified via social media, with a message sent to their inbox and a reply under their comment on the competition post.

Vouchers will be valid for redemption until 23 November 2024.

By acceptance to enter the competition, FMCSA and/or their affiliates may request the winners to take and/or use their photographs to promote the event on its digital, social and/or owned channels, without remuneration being made payable to the winners. Winners have the right to object to these images being used by notification to FMCSA. Winners further have the right to remain anonymous.

Vouchers cannot be redeemed retrospectively, i.e., to obtain a refund for funds already spent with a Ford dealership previously.

6. Intellectual Property

FMCSA will retain all intellectual property and/or copyright rights in any entries submitted to the competition.

7. Liability

By participating in this competition, FMCSA partners, employees, agents, and representatives, will be held harmless from any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from the competition.

Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of the competition rules and entrants agree to abide by these rules.

8. Privacy

All personal information supplied by entrants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and FMCSA’s Privacy Policy. By participating in this competition, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

FMCSA reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to instances of fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond FMCSA’s reasonable control that impair the integrity or proper functioning of the competition, as determined by FMCSA in its sole discretion.

FMCSA also reserve the right to terminate the competition at any time and for any reason. In such cases, FMCSA will announce the termination and its reasons through appropriate channels and may, at its sole discretion, determine an alternative method for awarding any remaining prizes.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
