Is Rust Covered Under Warranty?

If any part of the original bodywork of the vehicle is perforated by rust corrosion, the panel(s) affected by the perforation will be repaired or replaced by any Ford Authorized Repairer, free of charge, except where rust corrosion has been caused by external influence (eg.accident, prior repair procedure, sand, salt, stones, hail, chemicals or industrial fallout), regardless of any change in vehicle ownership for up to 5 years (60 months).
